Apex Legends is one of the games installed on all of our devices, but without any way to play competitively because the British Esports Association Student Champs doesn't cover Apex Legends.

I had noticed some colleges have an Apex team listed on their team rosters and after a little digging and a bit of communication I have found they mainly play open tournaments. Neil from Gower College Swansea pointed me in the direction of Vulpine Esports and their upcoming Vulpine Apex Legends Series. Here is the launch video for their next event VALS 4. You can also look at the previous event on their YouTube Channel: VALS 3.

The next event will be in early February so we are looking to enter a few teams. It would be nice to enter a team to represent TRC Cobras & one to represent TRC Esports. It does appear to be limited to 20 teams so restrictions might be imposed. If we are limited to just one team, a playoff match will be held to determine which team represents TRC.

It would be nice to use this opportunity to bring more students into the realm of esports. So depending on who is interested, we might prioritise students not currently involved in the esports matchday experience.
